A woman, a performer composer, who has earned 15 Grammys as well as an Oscar during her professional career. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, MBE, is a name everybody knows. Her birth date was May 5th, 1988. The parents of her mother gave birth to the baby girl in Tottenham, London. Her mother was English while her father was Welsh. The mother of her child took her in when her father abandoned them. She started singing when she was four. She became obsessed with it. They relocated between London and Brighton. Then, in 1999, they moved back to London. West Northwood inspired her to write the first of her many songs. Adele was a student of Croydon's BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology beginning in the month of May She also became a friend of Leona. Adele was, as stated by Jessie J. Adele, credits the school for sustaining her talent even though she was at that time towards artisans as well as collections (A&R) and was expected to pass on various other professions. Adele Mara..............Born Adelaide Delgado in 1925 Spanish-American Adele Mara was a singer/dancer with Xavier Cugat and His Orchestra in Detroit by the age of 15. Cugat brought this gorgeous brunette girl into New York in 1942, and in 1942, a Columbia talent agent was able to sign her. After 1942 she appeared as a hot leading lady in a number of boring B films like Vengeance of the West starring Tex Ritter. She was transformed a few years later into a hot platinum blonde pin-up model when she joined Republic Studios. They kept her busy in senorita roles, mostly opposite Roy Rogers as in Bells of Rosarita (both 1945) and Gene Autry as in Twilight on the Rio Grande. Also, she was a popular character in crime dramas, including Blackmail (1947) as well as Web of Danger (1947) as well as a delightful divertissement in action films like Wake of the Red Witch (1948) which starred John Wayne and The Avengers (1950). Angel in Exile was released in 1948, and Sands of Iwo Jima (both with Duke Wayne) are arguably two of the best films she's ever made.
